ANIMATION
A short screenwash animation that played at a Halloween screening for the production company SLOMotion Film in San Luis Obispo. I reworked SLOMotion’s surfer logo into a slasher image, and imitated John Carpenter-like title sequences from classic 70s horror films.

Climbing doesn’t always have to be super technical and neither does what you wear when you climb. Featuring three hand-knit sweaters by Annika Furman, we photographed physical expression and style on rock through three different climbers. We photographed this series at Point Dume in Malibu, CA.

The Alibi

For The Alibi, a new bar and music venue in Telluride, Colorado, I was tasked with art directing and photographing a set of signature and progressive cocktails. I reasearched the outlaw characters each drink was based off of, interpreting their stories into visual landscapes.
I constructed small sets with handpainted backdrops and household props to give these beverages a story of their own.

Nisei
SHORT FILM, 2024
NISEI (nee-say) is a creative exploration of the biracial experience of skier, Sierra Schlag. While in Japan, she is seen as white and while in America, she is seen as Japanese and never accepted as her full self. Through the lens of skiing, Schlag finds herself on a journey to self-discovery within the two cultures she has ties to.
For this film, I was asked to animate photographs, illustrate, and design titles to reflect Sierra’s investigation into her identity and passion for skiing.

Telluride Nordic Association
BRAND IDENTITY
Telluride Nordic Association is a staple in the Telluride winter sports community. With a season-long operation providing groomed trail access for Nordic skiers, the organization provides valuable resources and information for recreationalists.
I was tasked with updating the association’s visual identity, while maintaining its spirt and grassroots. I referenced graphic materials from Telluride Ski Resort and vintage ski catalogs to capture a classic look.

Ganjala is for the fun lovin’ folks looking for a little buzz at the party or at home. Launched in 2012 by a group of friends in Telluride, Colorado, the brand started as a pocket pouch and turned into a party pouch.
A group of us assembled in 2020 to rebrand Ganjala, creating a new brand identity, including packaging, brand photography, website, social assets, and more.
